Introduction

Square Garden ("the App") is a puzzle game developed by ArtMondo. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Square Garden stores all game progress locally on your device. We do not collect personal information such as your real name, email address, location, or device identifiers.

If you opt in to the optional Leaderboards feature (in your Profile), the following data is shared anonymously with our leaderboard service:

• Your display name (chosen by you in-game)
• Your avatar emoji
• Your star scores and current level

No email, real name, or device identifiers are collected. Leaderboard data is associated with an anonymous identifier only.

Local Data Storage

The App stores the following data locally on your device to provide game functionality:

• Your in-game profile (username, avatar selection, preferences)
• Game progress (levels completed, stars earned)
• App settings (sound, theme preferences)

This data is stored using Android's local DataStore and never leaves your device. You can clear this data at any time through the App's Settings menu or by uninstalling the App.

Internet Access

Square Garden works entirely offline. Internet is used only when the optional Leaderboards feature is enabled, to submit and retrieve scores. No analytics, ads, or tracking services are used.

Third-Party Services

When Leaderboards are enabled, Square Garden uses Google Firebase (Anonymous Authentication and Realtime Database) to store and display scores. Firebase is operated by Google and subject to Google's privacy policy.

Square Garden does not use:

• Analytics platforms
• Advertising networks
• Social media SDKs
• Crash reporting tools

Children's Privacy

Square Garden is designed to be safe for players of all ages. Since we do not collect any personal data whatsoever, the App is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations. No account creation, email address, or personal details are ever required to use the App.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or transfer any data to third parties. If you opt in to Leaderboards, your display name, emoji, and scores are stored on Firebase and visible to other players on the leaderboard. No other data is shared.

Data Security

Local game data is protected by your device's own security measures. Leaderboard data (if opted in) is stored securely on Google Firebase with access restricted to your anonymous account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
